With over 20 years of experience, Girls Action Foundation is a national registered charity located in Montreal, Quebec. Through its local, regional and national programs & network, Girls Action builds girls’ and young women’s leadership skills and confidence to inspire action to change the world.

Working in collaboration with members across the country, Girls Action reaches over 60,000 girls and young women in urban and remote communities, including those in the North.

Girls Action Foundation is recruiting a dynamic professional to lead the organization. The ideal candidate has extensive nonprofit management experience, possesses a strong understanding of intersectionality, feminism, popular education and is passionate about working collaboratively to create spaces for girls and young women to be powerful agents of social change.

During the whole month of April, young feminists share stories and opinions by blogging and commenting on kickaction.ca. 

The idea is to have a bunch of bloggers converge on one site to write about a given topic, allowing readers to read a variety of takes on a subject.

Zoom in on Girls is coming to WINNIPEG !!! We are coming in May!

For the 13th consecutive year on February 14th, girls and young women are steering away from the usual Valentine’s Day activities and instead creating action-oriented projects to raise awareness about the issues affecting them and their communities!

This fall, Girls Action is organizing its third National Career Day to help girls explore new career options, meet inspiring women leaders, increase their confidence, and expand their view of themselves and their futures!

This year, the Amplify Training will take place from November 2-5, 2016. Join girls' programmers from across the country to learn more about facilitating girls' programs!

An online toolkit that contains relevant and accessible web-based tools for young women to prevent and better respond to violence in intimate relationships. Each tool has been tested and approved by young women across Canada to ensure their applicability across varying contexts and social locations.
