Designing Spaces and Programs for Girls

October 24th–28th, 2010

Amplify is an annual national training program for girls’ program facilitators. Through our 5-day training, supported by the Amplify Manual and ongoing follow-up sessions, facilitators learn how to start and sustain girls’ programs. Participants build facilitation and workshop/program design skills, while sharing resources, challenges and strategies.

The Girls Action team would like to thank all of the participants of the Zoom in on Girls events in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal! It was wonderful to have the chance to meet all of you and to be able to hear about your hard work and wide variety of activities.

We would like to thank you for sharing your knowledge and stories, and for being great sources of inspiration to us all. This event would not have been a success without your participation. Your enthusiasm and passion was reflected in your engagement in the gathering, you really made it your own, and we greatly appreciate the effort all of you made to make it out to our various locations!
