Core Organizational Volunteers
We need volunteers who can help us keep our office organized and running smoothly by carrying out certain clerical and administrative tasks. Help us catch up on paperwork by scanning and filing documents, transcribing meeting notes, labeling and classifying resources, writing thank you notes, and other tasks that support our core operations. It might not be the most glamorous job, but it makes a huge difference in our ability to run efficient and impact programs for girls and young women. Core organization volunteers will support our Operations Manager.
Project and Events Volunteers
Volunteering in projects and/or events at Girls Action means supporting the different stages of a project's implementation in relation to capacity building for girls and young women. From online projects to gathering and celebration events, the volunteer in projects and/or events will be able to discover and learn the different levels of project implementation. The Project/Events volunteer will support our Project Officer.
Communications Volunteers
The communications volunteer will assist with a variety of tasks including content creation, including designing social media graphics, copywriting for social media and the Girls Action website; updating and maintaining Girls Action social media networks including scheduling content; drafting press releases; assist with designing flyers, marketing materials, etc; creating and cleaning lists in Salesforce; translation from English to French and vice versa.
